“Nuka”
Demdaco
Nuka has the solemn expression of someone who has been asked to supervise the weather. He checks the window, considers the conditions, and usually recommends staying inside with a blanket. Despite being a polar bear, he sees no reason to make a virtue of being cold. His round ears, creamy coat, and substantial little paws suggest he has already prepared quite thoroughly for a quieter life.
He takes his duties seriously, keeping a close eye on suspicious clouds and returning to the window whenever a leaf moves with unusual urgency. Rain calls for tea. Wind requires an extra blanket. At night, he closes his eyes to see the aurora, remembering ribbons of light drifting across a sky far bigger than any window. If you sit beside him, he’ll keep watch until you’re sleepy. Then you can close your eyes and look for it together.
