The Cuddle Revival Original · One of One
Brimley looks as though he has spent a lifetime collecting quiet moments. His golden coat catches the light like dry meadow grass, while his unruly fur gives him the gentle appearance of someone who has never been in a hurry. There is also something familiar about him — the feeling of an old friend you can’t quite remember meeting. The sort who seems to have always been there, beside the books or in the corner of the room, quietly witnessing all the different people you have been.
He has learned a few things in all that time. That most worries become smaller if you leave them alone overnight. That there is very little worth saying in anger. That good chairs should be kept, letters should occasionally be written by hand, and people usually need listening to more than they need advice. Brimley rarely offers an opinion, but when he does, you get the distinct impression he has considered the matter thoroughly.
Mostly, though, he knows that a good old friend doesn’t require you to remain the person you were when you first met. He simply makes room for whoever you have become — and carries on sitting beside you as though, of course, he knew you would get here eventually.

The Making
Brimley was individually created, jointed, weighted, and finished in The Cuddle Revival studio. His features were developed slowly, allowing subtle asymmetry and expression to remain rather than bringing every element toward exact uniformity.
His woven nose is a signature detail of the Gesture series. Each piece is allowed to develop its own character through the making, with variations in expression, silhouette, and finish intrinsic to the work — part of what makes each bear singular.
One of One
Brimley is an original work and will be released as a one-of-one. A single Artist Proof will remain permanently in The Cuddle Revival studio archive; only one Brimley will ever be released into the world.
Future bears may share elements of his construction, materials, or lineage, but no further editions of Brimley will be made. His particular expression, proportions, and artist-finished details belong to him alone.
Care
Surface spot-clean only. Handle joints gently and keep away from prolonged direct sunlight. Brimley is an artist-made collectible intended for adult collectors.
