Crumpet has the expression of someone whose tea has been made incorrectly three times. His blue eyes, little dark nose, and magnificent whiskers suggest very high standards, although he has yet to contribute anything toward the running of the household. He considers himself the supervisor of comfortable places. If you get up to fetch something, Crumpet understands that you have surrendered your seat. There is no appeals process.
For all his apparent grievances, he is rather easy to please. A warm corner, a little company, and the occasional acknowledgment that he is a handsome fellow will usually suffice. He likes being near his person, preferably close enough to keep an eye on them without appearing emotionally invested. He would be quite put out if you noticed how much he loves you.

Handle gently and spot clean with a soft, lightly dampened cloth. Avoid soaking or machine washing, and allow to air dry fully. Keep out of direct sunlight.
