1. Who we are

The Cuddle Revival ("we," "us," "our") sells three categories of product: (a) handmade plush designed and built by Catherine Ngo ("Original Plush"), (b) curated vintage plush sourced by us and resold ("Vintage Plush") and curated plush sourced and sold by us (“Curated Plush”).

2. Acceptance of terms

By placing an order on this site, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, and our Liability Disclaimer below. If you don't agree, don't place an order.

3. Product descriptions

We describe each plush (bespoke, vintage or curated) as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions, and condition. Because Original Plush are handmade, slight variation between the photographed plush and the one you receive (stitching, fur pattern, stuffing firmness) is normal and not a defect. Because Vintage Plush are pre-owned, we note visible wear, repairs, and age-appropriate condition in the listing; assume any flaw not disclosed was not known to us, not that it doesn't exist.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in US dollars and are due in full at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order ships and will contact you if a correction changes your total.

5. One-of-a-kind items

Most Original Plush and all Vintage Plush are one-of-a-kind or one time finds. Once sold, that exact item is gone. We don't guarantee we can make an identical replacement.

6. Shipping

Processing time: Custom orders are made and shipped within 4-6 weeks after we've agreed on the design together. All other plush (handmade, vintage, and curated pieces) ship within 3-5 business days of payment.

Domestic (U.S.): Orders ship within 3-5 business days of payment via USPS, with tracking provided. Delivery times are estimates set by the carrier, and we are not responsible for carrier delays.

International: We ship to select countries via USPS. International orders ship within 3-5 business days, and delivery times vary widely by destination and customs processing. The buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees charged by the destination country, which are not included in your order total. We are not responsible for delays or holds caused by customs. Packages refused or unclaimed due to fees will not be refunded on a case by case basis, and return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund.

Packaging and damage: We package plush to survive transit but are not liable for damage caused by the carrier after the package leaves our hands. If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the package and the item and contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can support a carrier claim. Please keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved.

Lost packages: If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days (domestic) or 30 days (international), contact us and we will open a claim with the carrier. Insurance is included on orders over $100.

Address accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address provided by the buyer.

7. Age recommendation

Plush sold on this site are collectibles, not children's toys, unless a listing specifically states otherwise. See the Liability Disclaimer below for details.

8. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from an order or your use of this site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Laguna Niguel, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these policies as the store grows. The version posted at the time of your order governs that order.

Refund & Return Policy

Original Plush (handmade by Catherine Ngo)

  • All sales are final on custom or made-to-order Original Plush unless the bear arrives materially different from its listing description or damaged in transit.

  • If a ready-made (not custom) Original Plush arrives damaged or significantly not-as-described, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

  • Custom commissions (plush made to your specifications) are non-refundable once production has started, because materials and time are committed to your order. We'll confirm this with you before starting.

Vintage/Curated Plush

  • Because vintage items are one-time finds and sold "as described," all sales are final once the plush ships, except where the item arrives in materially worse condition than disclosed in the listing (undisclosed damage, missing parts described as present, etc.).

  • Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll offer a partial refund, full refund, or return at our discretion — return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless we made the error.

  • We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse (change of mind, doesn't match your decor, etc.) on Vintage Plush.

General

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 10 business days to appear.

  • We do not refund original shipping charges except when the return is due to our error.

  • We reserve the right to decline a refund or return request that falls outside these windows or terms.

Liability & Product Safety Disclaimer

Not a children's toy unless stated. Unless a specific listing states the bear is designed and tested as a children's toy under applicable safety standards (age grading, CPSIA compliance, etc.), every plush sold here — handmade, vintage and curated — is a collectible for display, intended for adults and collectors, not for children under 14 years. This matters for a real reason, not a formality: vintage plush may contain small or deteriorating parts (glass or old plastic eyes, wired joints, old stuffing, buttons), and even handmade bears use materials (safety eyes, small trims, embellishments) that can be choking or injury hazards if a small child chews or pulls them apart.

Vintage-specific risks. Vintage and pre-owned plush may contain materials no longer considered safe by current standards (older paints, adhesives, or stuffing materials) and show age-related wear (weakened seams, brittle fabric, loose joints) that isn't always visible in photos. We disclose known condition issues but cannot guarantee an item's full material history.

Care and supervision. If a plush is given to or handled by a child regardless of intended use, it should be done under adult supervision. We are not responsible for injury, choking, allergic reaction, or damage resulting from a plush being used outside its intended purpose as a display collectible.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cuddle Revival and Catherine Ngo are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, ownership, or use of any plush sold on this site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.

No warranty beyond as-described. Plush are sold as described in their listing. We make no other express or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, except where required by law.
